{Glorious to Behold}
"It is glorious to behold this ribbon of water sparkling in the sun, the bare face of the pond full of glee and youth, as if it spoke the joy of the fishes within it, and of the sands on its shore--such is the contrast between winter and spring. Walden was dead and is alive again."

Did you make Squirrel's skirt? I love it!
ReplyDeleteStacy--we haven't been back yet, but hopefully sometime soon. We've been blessed that my family has come up to visit us. The puggies are still with Laura, who is so sweet and sends me photos and updates that I just blubber like a fool through. I miss them so much and it hurts to think what my kids are missing because I think pets add so much to enrich our lives. :( Ainsley has a fish tank with some fish and a frog...but it's certainly no consolation. Besides that, we love it here. I love the job, I love seeing Rob in school, I even still love the weather (though I'm ready for Spring!) Hope all is well with you and your sweeties!
ReplyDeleteShelby--Thanks! I did not actually make it...though I have a similar one in different fabrics in the works. Hers I got from Gymbo b/c I couldn't resist. I had this great idea to make all her summer clothes...and then I buckled under the pressure of their adorable alligator and daisies line! :)
