I'm Kierra.
I'm mom of three children and wife to the man of my dreams. A couple of years ago, we uprooted our lives with our sights set on simplicity and following Thoreau's adage to "Live the life you've imagined." My husband, after years away from it, is finally back in school studying for his dream job. We're working on kicking the consumer habit and living for the simple things.
I've never been much too good at anything, but find my joy in writing, reading (poetry, narrative, fiction), photography, and crafting.

Dish hatred is in our genes. I love to tell people our parents use exclusively disposable dishwear and see the reaction, but at the end of a long dish ditrying day, paper plates and plastic cutlery are enticing!!
